Our room was lovely , nice big bay windows making it nice and bright . Very comfortable bed. Allvery nicely decorated. Good location and only a five minute still . Would definitely stay again .

Our room was fantastic. It had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable and had beautiful decor! The en-suite was the perfect size and the shower was really good! They provided tea/coffee, biscuits, bottled water in a fridge, shampoo, conditioner etc. The host was very welcoming, don’t change a thing!

What a beautiful home from home . Spotlessly clean. Ourroom was large and comfortable with assets to watch tv if we wanted . Little extra of mini fridge with water and a kettle with team and coffee and biscuits all added to a wonderful stay . Our hosts were knowledgeable and helped us find some lovely places to eat . Fantastic location and train station to park just round the corner £4.50 per 24 hours what a find . No worrying about trying to park on limited spaces on street .Can’t recommend Ivy Bank Guest house enough , we will be back

I would not have booked if I had realised that breakfast was not available and not included in the price. Also there is no lounge space available and no parking. £90 per night is too much, also considering that the property is positioned some distance from the sea front.

Hi David, we are sorry to hear that you were not happy.We do state when booking that we are room only and have not found the need for a lounge as we do not normally take group bookings.Most of the hotels and guest houses in Tenby do not offer parking and the train station car park is just around the corner from us.We are also just a 5min walk to both the North and South beaches, located in a quiet street and again we state this on our website.Many thanks Janine

The room was lovely and very comfortable. Facilities were fantastic and the room was immaculate on arrival. The location is perfect as it is only a short walk to the town and as such is also perfect for accessing the beach and harbour. This was my first ever time and holiday to Tenby. I've been wanting to visit Tenby for such a long time. And I'm so glad I stopped at ivy bank guest house to. The landlady was very friendly and helpful to. I also like where it was located in Tenby to nice and quiet road but not far at all from the beaches and town centre. I hope return to Tenby again sometime and I would definitely stop at ivy bank guest house again it was perfect in every way 😊

Friendly host.Lovely hotel, room was beautiful. Spotless and decorated nice. Loved the shutters and bathroom! Room was cleaned to a very high standard daily and fresh towels were given daily. Best hotel I’ve been too. We really enjoyed it. Nice and quiet too. Only problems we had was the Wi-Fi connection. Tv kept losing signal so we wasn’t able to watch tv as much as we’d of liked. Also the quilt was very very thin so the sheet didn’t fit it properly which was a bit annoying when trying to sleep at night and it kept gathering. I suggest investing in a thicker one so the sheet fits it properly. Liked having a fan in the room also. We will definitely be back. Thankyou again!

Top class room spotless clean

Our room and shower room was lovely. Spotless and modern. Tea coffee and biscuit’s. And I mini fridge with water in. Good location minutes from the beaches and the town. And the station was just around the corner where you can park the car.

In 50 years of staying in b&b,hotels,apartments,caravans and guest houses this was the cleanest, quietest, nicest and most peaceful place we have ever stayed in. How Ivy Bank is run is a credit to the owners, this is how a guest house should be run, We will definitely be going back later in the year, I never normally leave a review but they deserve all the praise they get. Breakfast would have been nice but there are plenty of other places to eat.

The accommodation was immaculate and very comfortable. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. It’s a shame that breakfast wasn’t included but there was plenty of places to choose from in the town. The only disappointment was that the WiFi did not work in our room a the TV had quite a bit of interference. As we were out a lot it was not too much of an issue.

It was everything we could have hoped for. We stayed in Room 3 (the Deluxe suite). It was clean, fresh, modern and spacious. The decor was so homely and conforting it was perfect. Excellent value for money. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate/water/biscuits provided. Bathroom was lovely and modern, shower pressure and temperature was great too. They even provided a little dark coloured flannel for make up removal which worked a treat as I had forgotten my make up wipes so didn't need to ruin the nice white towels! There was a fan, mini fridge and very decent sized TV in the room too. Bed and bedding was so soft and comfy. Just an all round excellent experience staying there and would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you so much!

What a place to stay the room was fantastic, we had room 3 which was so spacious, the bed was so comfortable the shower was awesome and just everything about the room was amazing. Would recommend to anyone to stay here. Not in the centre but a minute walk to the centre on Tenby. Anyone that comes here will be so impressed I have been to a lot of hotels an this is one of the the best. The host was amazing and remade the bed the room etc each day and replenished the coffee and biscuits. There was water to in the fridge which we also had in the room that was also replenished each day. Could not fault this hotel. If there was a 6th star i would give it

Superb large room decorated to a very high standard. Bed very comfy and room also had comfy settee. Tea and coffee facility provided and replenished daily along with mini fridge with bottled water. Room 5 in Ivy Bank Guest House has recently been revamped and a tiny bathroom (Shower, washbasin and loo) has been installed in one corner, reducing the living area to the extent there is not enough room for a chair, only a stool tucked under the dressing table. This is no problem for anyone who is comfortable reading on the bed propped up with pillows but I would have preferred a proper chair.Whoever has installed the bathroom is a real professional - everything has been finished to a very high standard and the electric shower, contrary to some we have tried before - most notably in Cuba where we frequently risked electrocution whilst showering! - works very well.We thought, considering it was rather cramped, it was a little overpriced, but then this was in Tenby, and, as other reviewers have pointed out, it was spotless.We were recommended several restaurants - all but one were a little disappointing, but one stood out - the On George. Their fresh fish dishes - mussels, white mullet, plaice, not to mention their Welsh lamb were worthy of a few Michelin stars!

The Ivy Bank Guest House is a little gem, in wonderful Tenby. Fantastic location - 5 minute walk from Tenby Town centre, 2 minutes walk from the Train Station, and 10 minutes walk from the beautiful beaches. The Guest House is set in a quiet residential area. Ivy Bank has recently undergone a renovation, with the bedrooms and bathrooms beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. There are toiletries supplied, a hairdryer, a small fridge, water, tea, coffee and biscuits. The rooms are tidied daily, with the water, tea, coffee etc replenished. The owners are very friendly and answer any questions you may have in super quick time. It was our Wedding Anniversary during our stay and there was a Congratulations banner and some wine ready in our room on arrival - a really lovely gesture. We would certainly recommend and will definitely return!

We booked a short break at Ivy Bank at short notice. We had requested advice on where to eat out and this had been answered speedily and with good detail. We parked at the railway station as advised and it is a very reasonable charge of £4 day. The walk to the guest house takes just a few minutes and is easy to find. We had a nice welcome and were offered assistance with our cases to reach our bedroom on the second floor. The bedroom at the back of the hotel is quiet and looks out over the rear court-yard. The room was immaculate and very tastefully decorated although quite small with limited room to move around. There is good storage space available. Tea and coffee making tray with a good selection of product and complimentary biscuits. There is a small fridge with complimentary bottled water. A flat screen TV on the wall with free-view channels. The en-suite bathroom was immaculate and very nicely done. The shower is large and works superbly well. The wash basin is compact, has a very nice lighted mirror above it which makes it easy for wet shaving. Towels were of good quality and can be changed daily if requested. The guest house was quiet at all times and we were not disturbed. Our only negative comment about our room was that to watch TV you can only do it by sitting on the bed. To get hot water from the bathroom basin takes a long time and there is a large amount of water that is wasted. The guest house does not offer breakfast, and we knew that when we booked and did not think it would be an issue. In reality it was a big inconvenience which proved to be costly for the 3 days. It is only for this reason that we would probably not stay at Ivy Bank again. Such a shame as the standard of the rooms is truly exceptional. We have still given the Ivy Bank 5 stars as we knew in advance that there was no breakfast available.

Good size room and en suite. Room was clean, staff very friendly. Very quiet at night. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Nice clean room with a very comfortable bed. Small bathroom but with a decent sized shower. Limited parking outside. We used the train station parking at £4 for 24 hours. This parking is very close to the guest house. Owner friendly and helpful.

This was our first time visiting Tenby and we couldn’t of asked for a better guest house! Ivy Bank was spotless and decorated beautifully and a stones throw away from the main centre and were we parked our car. We were greeted by the owners daughter who was super friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our visit. Ivy Bank has a really relaxed and home-away-from-home feel to it and we will definitely be staying again on our return to Tenby!!Thank you for making our visit even more special.

A warm and helpful welcome from Janine and Steven. We had room 2 at the rear of the house, beautifully well presented, a small double, fridge, bottled water, tea,coffee and biscuits tray, refilled each day. Janine and Steven always ready to help and provide information. Would definately stay again. Centrally located just minutes up a slight incline to the town wall, but not difficult to walk. Quiet area to stay. Some free street parking.

We had a small room in this nicely refurbished guest house which we found very comfortable. As we came by train this proved to be an excellent location in a quite neighbourhood. There were no negatives about staying here and only one small niggle that the main light was very bright so the room would have benefitted from a dimmer switch. As we were there for only two days this didn't detract from our stay. The organisation and contact with the guest house before, during and after our visit were excellent.

Stayed at Ivy Bank pre Covid.Though now the new owners have done an excellent job with complete refurbishment to an excellent standard.We was made very welcome and nothing to much trouble.Definitely stay again when visiting relatives.

Had a fabulous week at ivy bank guest house. Everything was spotless as the owner came in our room everyday to sort bed and leave clean towels. Tea, coffee plus quality biscuits where replaced each day.the ivy bank was also perfectly situated for access to the town. Only downfall was the parking.

A pleasant stay ,very good rooms and well done out with great on suite shower, TV, and tea making facilities. House was very clean with a lot of money spent to get to this condition. Would definitely recommend 👌
